    UPCOMING LIBRARY CLOSURE

    The PLA Library will be closed on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1, 2024, for Good Friday & Easter Monday.

    Earlier this month, we announced the results of the Board of Directors election. In case you missed it, the following Directors were elected: Joanne Lagoudis, Shauna Pemberton, Virender Rathi, Sarah Rustomji, Rangila Sengupta, and Puneet Sharma

    We are pleased to announce the new PLA Executive, which was elected internally at the monthly Directors' meeting on March 20, 2024.

    The Toronto Metropolitan University is reaching out to find lawyers who would like to participate as a Mentor, Assessor, Trial Advocacy Advisor, Guest Speaker, Employer or in some other capacity in the Law Practice Program (LPP). The LPP is a route to licensing lawyers, consisting of 4 months interactive online skills development and training followed by a 4 month work placement. The first 4 months are entirely online, so you can participate from anywhere in Ontario.
