PLA Library Hours

8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Monday - Friday

The Library will be closed during the following statutory holidays: Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving Day, and Remembrance Day. We will also be closed at the end of the year from December 25 - January 1 (inclusive). If a holiday is on a Saturday or Sunday, the Library will be closed the following Monday.

Any scheduled closures will be noted in our calendar and/or posted in the Latest News from the PLA section of our website.

The Library may close early on days that the Association will be hosting a CPD or event. Members are asked to keep an eye on their emails for any scheduled or unexpected closures. Signage will also be posted for visiting counsel.

There is NO after-hours access to the Library.

Location

The PLA Library is located within the PLA facilities in suite 160 of the Brampton Courthouse (7755 Hurontario Street).

The Library is accessed by passing through the lounge area.

If you require assistance in accessing any area of the PLA facilities, there is an intercom button located on the column wall next to the book return bin. This intercom button can be used to contact staff in the Library during our hours of operation.
