Peel Law Association

Library Catalogue

You can search the PLA collection using the online catalogue generated by the Great Library: Peel Law Association catalogue

All lawyers in good standing with the LSO, articling students, and LPP/IPC/NCA candidates are welcome to come into the library and use our collection.

Members are able to sign out up to 3 books at a time. The length of the borrowing period will depend on the type of resource:

  • Short term (Criminal codes, new books, etc.) - 1 week
  • Regular (majority of the collection) - 2 weeks

Overdue fines will be applied to any unreturned items and are subject to replacement fees along with any associated administrative costs. Renewals may be provided upon request at the discretion of library staff.

Some items are not available to be signed out from the library, such as looseleafs, reference books, case reporters, etc. All materials borrowed overnight are subject to immediate recall with no renewals.

You can also search the Great Library and Courthouse Libraries Catalogue to see what is available at the other association libraries. If an item is not available in the PLA Library collection, we may be able to borrow it via an interlibrary loan. Please note that any items borrowed as an interlibrary loan will only be available for use within the library.
