A. Grenville and William Davis Courthouse

Building Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Counter Service: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Members of the Public

The public entrance to the building will be open around 8:00 AM, Monday - Friday.
Please make sure to use the doors marked for the public as there is a separate entrance for staff only which requires a keycard.

Members of the public will be required to go through a security check point at the front entrance before being allowed to enter the courthouse. You may be asked to take off your coat, belt, and have your personal bags go through a scanning device.

If you are coming to the courthouse for a matter, please ensure that you allow time for you to go through security as there may be a long line.

Law Society of Ontario Photo ID Cards

There is a separate line that is available to legal counsel that allows them to bypass the public line.

Please have your Law Society of Ontario photo identification card ready for presentation when entering the building.

Once you enter the building, there will be a metal detector gate that will have a sign indicating that counsel and court staff may use that line. Have your LSO ID card ready to show the police officers in charge of building security to bypass the public line. Please note that expired cards have been known to be rejected as a means of identification.
