The PLA obtained this amazing resource from the American Association of Law Libraries conference. The information in this text was compiled by contributors from around the world offering a global perspective on surrogacy and the law.

Information provided on Edward Elgar Publishing's website:

This essential Research Handbook provides a multifaceted exploration of surrogacy and the law, examining a variety of critical yet under-researched perspectives including globalization, power, gender, sexual orientation, genetics, human rights and family relations.
Bringing together diverse, expert contributors, this contemporary Research Handbook covers four distinct topics: surrogacy and rights, the interplay between surrogacy and different areas of the law, cross-border aspects, and regional perspectives. Building on case studies from a multitude of countries, astute authors tackle significant issues related to surrogacy in their legal context, as well as their theoretical, cultural and political complexities.

This is the perfect resource for Criminal practitioners containing helpful flowcharts and forms for criminal court procedures.

Information provided on Thomson Reuter's website:

Balgopal’s Guide to Criminal Practice is a practical guide for all participants in the criminal justice system. The goal of the book is to provide the user with the tools and information necessary to navigate the busy daily practice of criminal justice in the provincial court.

Flowcharts are an important and central feature of the book, and provide the user with a high-level understanding of how the parts of the Criminal Code interact with the other important statutes regulating the criminal law. The flowcharts also provide detailed and specific references to the important sections of the Criminal Code to which the user may need to refer.

This book provides ready-to-complete forms, created so that they can be photocopied right from the book in court, filled out by hand, and then signed by the jurist.
