1 Aug 2024 8:53 AM | Anonymous

This is the perfect resource for Criminal practitioners containing helpful flowcharts and forms for criminal court procedures.

Information provided on Thomson Reuter's website:

Balgopal’s Guide to Criminal Practice is a practical guide for all participants in the criminal justice system. The goal of the book is to provide the user with the tools and information necessary to navigate the busy daily practice of criminal justice in the provincial court.

Flowcharts are an important and central feature of the book, and provide the user with a high-level understanding of how the parts of the Criminal Code interact with the other important statutes regulating the criminal law. The flowcharts also provide detailed and specific references to the important sections of the Criminal Code to which the user may need to refer.

This book provides ready-to-complete forms, created so that they can be photocopied right from the book in court, filled out by hand, and then signed by the jurist.
